The children are divided into two groups determined by age.  The children are taught a variety of Christian children’s songs and the teachings of Jesus through hands on activities. Typically a Christmas Program is held based on the birth of Jesus. More information is available to all parents of Church School aged children.  Normally, Church School classes are held on Sunday mornings from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Contact our Church at 715-274-2203 for more information or if you would like to volunteer to be a teacher.

Christian Confirmation Classes

Christian Confirmation Classes are offered for young people in 7th and 8th grades. This two-year course is designed to engage the student in the work of the church and offered the experience of practicing faith together with the current members. The two years of study will culminate with the student desiring to make his or her own decision to affirm one’s faith by responding to the questions of baptism, vowing to believe in God and seeking to know God’s will for his or her life.  He or she will vow to take Jesus as one’s own personal Lord and Savior with the Holy Spirit as a guide. Following Confirmation, the young person will become an adult member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, keeping in mind that confirmation is not a graduation but a life’s commitment, a time of growth and a reflection of one’s individual ongoing faith journey.
